It fits directly to your OEM lower and frontal intakes, providing a seamless upgrade. How it Delivers More Power and Throttle Response The bespoke, high-flow air filter is designed with a large surface area that directs airflow toward the outer walls of the velocity stack-shaped intake tube. The one-piece inlet tube eliminates flexible hosing and connects directly to the turbo inlet pipe, creating a perfectly smooth internal wall. This design results in a smoother, less restrictive airflow, which reduces the load on the engine and allows for a larger volume of air to reach the turbos. Faster turbo spool: The unique shape of the inlet tubes allows the turbos to spool up more quickly. Superior Air Temperature Management Unlike most open-design intake systems on the market, which can pull in hot engine bay air, this semi-sealed system prevents heat soak. Hotter air is less dense and contains less oxygen, which reduces power. The Infinity Design lower air filter/inlet air duct housings are meticulously designed to ensure maximum airflow. They connect directly to the large factory air inlet ducts. While the factory OEM intake has an opening at the wheel arch liner, this design moves the opening to the front of the engine bay, integrating it with the OEM inlet feed. Combined with the included frontal scoops, this ensures the system pulls in a maximum amount of cool, ambient air directly to the turbos.
