AIRTEC Motorsport Intercooler Upgrade for Mk3 Focus AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our intercooler upgrade for the Mk3 Focus, designed to offer increased performance through reduced charge temperatures compared to the original intercooler. This upgrade is particularly important for remapped examples. With tapered end tanks, this intercooler has been tested up to 540bhp with an impressive 38 degree intake temperature. The high flow, single-pass core design is wider, taller, and deeper than the original, providing a massive increase in frontal area and capacity to make the most of the airflow. The kit fits neatly behind the original bumper and can be easily reverted back to standard if needed. It requires removal of the Ford grille shutters, which can be done by simply unbolting and refitting the loom to the AIRTEC bracket supplied. The comprehensive fitting kit includes all the necessary fixtures and fittings. The intercooler is available in Pro-Series Satin Black, with or without the AIRTEC logo.
