In order to ensure there is no noticeable loss in performance during extended periods of hard driving on road or track, AIRTEC Motorsport has developed a larger, freer-flowing intercooler that is a direct replacement for the smaller and more restrictive OEM item. Part Number: ATINTYGR1 As part of our expanding Yaris GR product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our intercooler upgrade suitable for track or fast road use. Our solution to increasing the intercooler’s size and performance is based upon our stepped-core design to make the most of the limited space available behind the bumper. The core steps from 110mm to 70mm, offering a huge 64% increase in overall capacity compared to the original intercooler. It also provides a 30% increase in frontal area over the standard intercooler, maximizing air flow. The inlet side of the intercooler retains a 50mm diameter to ensure minimal turbo lag, while the outlet side increases to 60mm to reduce restriction. Together with our high-flow, molded one-piece cast end tanks and an internal air diverter, the AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler offers greater efficiency and volume over the standard intercooler. The kit fits neatly behind the original bumper without the need for trimming or cutting, and can be easily reverted back to standard. The comprehensive fitting kit includes all the necessary fixtures and fittings, step-by-step instructions with pictures, and Pro Hoses silicone connectors. The intercooler is available in a Pro-Series Black finish (with or without the AIRTEC logo) and gloss black Pro Hoses silicone connectors.
