Forge Motorsport Induction Kit for VAG 1.0 TSI, including Seat Ibiza Mk5 Important Fitment Note: This intake will only fit 1.0TSI engines with the airbox ONTOP of the engine, this design changed in 2021/2022. The Forge Motorsport FMINDK39 is a highly anticipated induction kit for the VAG 1.0 TSI, including the Seat Ibiza Mk5. This kit is an evolution of the FMINDK30 used for the VW UP! GTI, with two key changes. The first and most important change is the incorporation of the OEM air duct, allowing the kit to fit up to the original cold air ducting. The second alteration is the inclusion of a lid to the heat shield, which retains as much of the cold air flowing into the airbox as possible. After dyno testing, the Forge Motorsport induction kit achieved gains of 5 bhp and 6lbft torque throughout the rev range, with higher gains expected from mapped cars. The kit is designed and manufactured in Great Britain, with a washable and reusable design featuring layered multi-density foam technology. The filter is manufactured to Forge Motorsport’s specifications by Pipercross, and the silicone hose has a larger bore and smooth finish inside for optimum flow. The construction of this hose has been engineered to exceed that of the OEM fitments and will enhance any car engine bay both technically and aesthetically. The Forge Motorsport induction kit is straightforward to fit and can be completed in 20-30 minutes, with no cutting or modification to the vehicle required, allowing it to be reversed back to stock. Additionally, the Forge Motorsport Turbo Inlet Adaptor for VAG 1.0 TSI Engine is designed to increase the volume and air flow significantly, with an internal stepped area to ensure the transition is as smooth as possible from the inlet tract to the turbo.
