Description “LETTER BOX”   SOLID CAST IRON HEAVY DUTY These letter boxes are extremely robust and heavy weight unlike many cheaper mass produced products on the market – An example of this would be our mortice door handles which weigh                              nearly 2.5lbs (38ounces) – solid heavy duty , quality   opening – 8″ length x 2″ height the hole placement on the back of the letter box is 9″ hole centre to hole centre   Our letter boxes are  cast in heavy duty iron with a  antique Black  FINISH These vintage letter boxes are sturdy and robust. . A classic vintage style look for the home. Fixing screws are provided.   Our cast iron letter boxes are all hand cast. So though similar will not be identical. Each piece is hand finished and  are carefully aged for an authentic look. We have had to source a good foundry to make this letter box for us. We use a small foundry that make these for us. The skilled blacksmiths  work here are very creative and dedicated to the products they create . There expertise and dedication are evident   when you see their finished work. The letter boxes are hand cast and hand cleaned and finished. When you receive your delivery you will have the correct amount of fixing screws included to enable you to install your letter box correctly.
